Our client is a globally recognized plastic packaging manufacturer with a strong presence in Indonesia, serving FMCG, HiTech, Pharma and large-scale Industrial clients. With over 50 years of heritage in the international market and a robust portfolio of 200+ clients locally, the company generates multi-million-dollar, double-digit revenue across the region.

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to drive commercial strategy transformation within a complex manufacturing environment. This leadership role will be instrumental in redefining commercial strategy & implementation, team development, long term contracts negotiation, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring long-term business resilience and market competitiveness through offering solutions that provide and increase values for the clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Identify and drive business expansion opportunities within FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key multinational clients, ensuring sustainable revenue streams.
  • Lead high-value contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and supply agreements to optimize profitability.
  • Act as a trusted commercial advisor to clients, co-developing solutions that enhance mutual business value.
  • Oversee and mentor the commercial sales team, instilling a results-driven, customer-centric culture.
  • Manage P&L impact, revenue forecasting, and margin optimization, ensuring financial health of sales operations.
  • Drive commercial innovation, leveraging digital tools, market intelligence, and strategic partnerships.
  • Spearhead value-driven initiatives that optimize supply chain efficiency and enhance product differentiation.
  • Position the company as a preferred supplier for FMCG and pharmaceutical clients through industry-leading solutions.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading sales transformation and commercial strategy execution within the manufacturing sector, preferably in packaging and/or B2B manufacturing sector
  • Ability to develop and implement data-driven sales strategies aligned with market trends and client needs.
  • Strong business acumen to drive revenue growth while ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Deep understanding of the requirements and commercial dynamics of Multinational FMCG & Pharmaceutical clients.
  • Ability to co-create value-driven solutions with clients, optimizing supply chain, cost efficiencies, and product innovation.
  • Proven track record of relationship-building at executive levels, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Willingness to be hands-on in commercial operations, including negotiations, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting.
  • Strong experience in contract negotiations, pricing models, and margin optimization specific to manufacturing.
  • Ability to analyze P&L impact and optimize commercial efficiency to maximize profitability.
