Our client is a globally recognised plastic packaging manufacturer with a strong presence in Indonesia, serving FMCG, HiTech, Pharma and large-scale Industrial clients. With over 50 years of heritage in the international market and a robust portfolio of 200+ clients locally, the company generates multi-million-dollar, double-digit revenue across the region.

We’re looking to hire a CFO who can lead the finance strategy changes within an intense manufacturing setting with the objective to shift and transform finance governance, capital structure optimisation, and sustainability initiatives. The role will be responsible for financial planning, transformation, structural changes, risk management, record-keeping and financial reporting, while also leading initiatives to optimise the company’s financial performance and growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability
• Oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cost control and drive key changes in the regional financial strategy 
• Ensure the company complies with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies while identifying and mitigating financial risks
• Manage cash flow, investments, and capital allocation to optimize financial health and  Establish and maintain internal controls 
• Collaborate with other C-suite executives to drive financial and operational strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company goals
• Lead, change & develop the finance team to attain high performance and continuous improvement

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or  Master’s degree or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CFA, etc) preferred
• Min 15+ years experience in driving financial leadership with 5 years in a senior financial role (CFO, Finance Director or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia, Malaysia and/ or ASEAN financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance
• Ability/ or track record of driving key finance strategy changes in manufacturing environment 
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities
• Bahasa Indonesia speaker (must) with experience in manufacturing, or multinational business operations (an advantage)
