Our client is a leading international brand responsible for providing innovative, affordable, and high quality pharma products. We’re looking to hire a Key Account Manager for Private Hospitals based in Malaysia to drive business growth and strong account engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in private hospitals, including medical directors, procurement officers, pharmacists, and doctors
- Manage the overall customer experience for private hospital accounts to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements to maximize business opportunities while maintaining ethical standards and compliance.
- Drive sales growth by identifying and targeting new business opportunities within private hospitals.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, including indications, benefits, clinical data, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customized promotional strategies and materials tailored to the hospital’s needs and target audience.
- Oversee the process of contract negotiations and tender submissions for hospital accounts, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically within private hospital settings.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals.
- Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with hospital procurement teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to healthcare professionals.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
