About the Role

Our client is a rapidly scaling Global FinTech firm driving digital transformation for financial institutions and enterprise clients across APAC markets. We are seeking a senior sales professional based in Australia to lead the go-to-market strategy and new business growth across the ANZ region. The role is highly entrepreneurial, focusing on new client acquisition, strategic partnerships and regional revenue expansion within the SaaS space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the region 
  • Build strong client relationships and develop a trusted advisor role by understanding customers’ risk, regulatory, credit and digital transformation challenges
  • Work closely with internal teams (Presales, Customer Success, Product & Marketing) to tailor value propositions and deliver impactful presentations, demos, and proposals
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, qualifying, and solution pitching to negotiation and deal closure
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM tools, ensuring strong visibility across deals and opportunities.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and the evolving fintech landscape to position the company as a strategic partner to clients.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Min 5 to 10 years hunter sales & business development experience, preferably in financial software market
  • Strong CxO level relationships in the banking & financial services, ecommerce, technology and enterprise market
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, self-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication skills; able to tailor messaging to technical, risk, finance, and executive audiences
  • Proactive, self-starter; able to work with regional autonomy, but also align with global teams
