Job Summary
Our Client is seeking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with proven experience in IT Services Sales within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the Southeast Asia (SEA) market, a demonstrated ability to drive new business, and expertise in managing large, strategic accounts.
This is a frontline sales leadership role, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and achieving revenue growth targets for the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- New Business Development
- Identify market trends and business opportunities through research, industry events, and publications.
- Generate new leads by engaging potential partners and exploring untapped opportunities.
- Evaluate potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financial viability.
- Develop negotiation strategies aligned with company objectives, assessing risks and business potential.
- Close new business deals by developing and negotiating contracts, ensuring alignment with delivery and operations.
- Collaborate with the Delivery Team to leverage existing client relationships and expand engagements (ECNB).
- Ensure timely payment collection and adherence to organizational processes and profitability norms.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Regularly engage with clients to assess and exceed expectations.
- Maintain clear, two-way communication between clients and internal teams.
- Develop customer reference ability and promote advocacy.
- Required Competencies
- Proven sales experience in IT Services (Application Services, Consulting, Infrastructure Services).
- Strong understanding of the Banking and Financial Services industry.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, qualifying leads, and delivering value-based proposals.
- Excellent account management and negotiation skills.
- Experience in responding to RFPs, preparing proposals, and writing detailed reports and business documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Global market intelligence and understanding of competitors’ offerings.
- Highly motivated, target-oriented, and capable of independent decision-making.
- Critical Success Factors
- Proven hunter mindset with experience in IT application services sales.
- Exposure to IT infrastructure services sales (preferred).
- Strong network and connects in the Banking and Financial Services industry across the SEA region.
- Ability to manage and grow large, strategic customer accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field
- MBA/PGDBM (Sales / Marketing – is preferred)
- PMP certification preferred
- 14–18 years of experience in IT Services Sales.
- Direct sales experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain.
- Strong exposure to the Southeast Asia (SEA) market.
